One person per slot
Character and Second character are separate uploads. A group photo in one slot makes the model guess who aims and who walks in. Further images are other angles of those same two people, not a third face.

The barrel comes up. The zombie is someone they love. Nothing is fired — the lunge cuts straight into a hug in warm sun. When both people should be adults who agreed, give each of them a photo. The freeze and the cut stay with the sample.

The panel below is the homepage studio, already on this clip. Leave the sample as the aim-and-hug turn. Character and Second character are the two photo slots, one person each. Both can stay empty if you only want the sample. Pick a quality and press Generate. Credits sit on the button. Mute is there when the clip should stay silent. You stay on this page.

Zombie Hug
15s · 1,140 credits · Seedance 2.5
Zombie Hug is the October 2026 photo-to-video joke also called Softhearted Gunner, or a zombie love story. Two portraits become a short vertical clip. One person aims. The other walks in as the zombie they cannot shoot. The lunge hard-cuts to a hug in sunlight, the golden-hour memory the trend kept using. The sample holds that turn. Two photos swap the pair. With no photos, the sample pair still renders.
Couples and close friends, when both adults have said yes. The demo on this page is that human pair. Pet versions, including an orange kitten, traveled on the same joke; they are not the sample here. If you only want to watch the cut, generate the sample alone.
Aim, freeze, tears, then the hard cut into the warm hug. Photos change who stands on each side, not when the cut happens. The trend soundtrack is not Genjutsu's music, so this page uses system audio overlay. Mute before you post if you will add a track you have rights to. Genjutsu AI is not CapCut, not MakeViral, and not a Softhearted Gunner token.
Background
In early October 2026 a photo-to-video gag started circulating under a few names at once: Zombie Hug, Softhearted Gunner, and zombie love story. The shape is stable. A survivor raises a gun at a zombie who is someone they love, freezes, cries, and never fires. The lunge does not land as a bite. It hard-cuts to a hug in sunlight, or to a golden-hour memory of the same two people.
The earliest post that traveled widely is Miraç (@netmutsuz) on X, 4 October 2026, captioned “Ağlıyorum” — Turkish for “I’m crying.” The post is https://x.com/netmutsuz/status/2106887598140707014 and drew about 4.4 million impressions. People treat it as the first upload that spread, not as proof of who built the original AI clip. That creator is still unconfirmed. An orange-kitten version and couple versions both blew up on X, and on TikTok through CapCut-style templates, across the first half of October.
What you generate here is the human pair: the Character slot, the Second character slot, and a sample of the aim, the freeze, and the sunny hug. Genjutsu AI turns photos into a short video. It is not CapCut, not MakeViral, and not the Softhearted Gunner token that showed up on Pump.fun beside the joke. The trend song is not ours. The studio puts system audio overlay on the run. Mute, then add a track you can actually use.
How it works
01
The page opens with the Zombie Hug sample already chosen. That file is the aim, the freeze, and the cut to the sunny hug. Watch it above, then keep it in the panel. Credits appear once the length is known.
02
This template wants two photos, not a solo still. Put the survivor in Character and the person they cannot shoot in Second character. One clear photo each, a face you can read, rights you actually have, and a yes from both adults before Generate. Skip both uploads and the sample pair still renders. Two people in one frame will not stay on their own sides.
03
Press Generate. The button shows credits for this length and quality first. Mute if you will replace the sound — this run uses system audio overlay because of the music. The clip plays in the panel when it is ready, and you can download it. A failed job returns the credits.
Photo tips
The joke fails if you cannot tell who refused to shoot, and who they are hugging a second later.
Character and Second character are separate uploads. A group photo in one slot makes the model guess who aims and who walks in. Further images are other angles of those same two people, not a third face.
The freeze and the hug both come in tight. A front or three-quarter still on a quiet background holds better than a dark party crop. Heavy filters make the two sides stop looking like the same pair.
The bit only lands if both people said yes. Do not lift a face off someone else's profile, and do not use a minor. If you leave one side on the sample, say so when you post — that likeness is not yours.
The soundtrack riding this joke is music Genjutsu does not own. The run uses system audio overlay. Mute the download if you will attach a track you have rights to on TikTok, Reels, or Shorts.
Credits
The Generate button shows the credit price before you start. It follows the reference length and the quality you pick. A longer sample costs more, and 1080p costs more than 720p or 480p.
Sample length is the default. If a duration is missing, the studio measures the file, then shows credits. Your own reference video is priced from that file. Clips that are too long are rejected before a job starts.
Leave mute off for a soundtrack from the model, or check mute and add music later. Mute does not change the camera or the timing. A failed job returns the credits.
Use cases
The cut stays. The pair changes.
One still for the person with the gun, one for the person in the hug. The sample keeps the freeze and the warm light. Mark the clip as AI when you post it.
The punchline is the refusal. It fits two friends who agreed. It does not fit a stranger, or a roast built on a photo they never saw.
Leave both slots empty to see the aim, the tears, and the hard cut, and to read the length and the credits. Add the two stills on the next pass.
The same joke sat next to CapCut templates, MakeViral pages, and Softhearted Gunner token posts. This page is none of those. Do not caption the clip as a partnership with them.
Examples
The sample above is one Zombie Hug: aim, freeze, then a hard cut into the sunny hug. Your generate keeps that timing. Character and Second character only change who stands on each side.
Other published templates use the same photo-to-video studio. Each one keeps its own sample motion, and you can open it to generate on that template’s page.
A Genjutsu AI photo-to-video template of the October 2026 zombie love story, also called Softhearted Gunner. Two portraits become a short vertical clip: someone aims, cannot fire, and the lunge cuts to a warm hug.
The template has two roles, Character and Second character. Add one photo to each when both people should be adults who agreed. You can generate from the sample alone if you only want to watch the cut.
No. Genjutsu AI is not CapCut, not MakeViral, and not a Softhearted Gunner or Pump.fun project. This page does not license their templates, their pages, or any token. The studio uses system audio overlay for the music. Mute and add a track you can use.
The shipped sample is about 10 seconds, vertical, for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Credits on Generate follow that length and the quality you pick.
Separate, readable stills help each side stay that person. Clothes and light can lean toward the sample, especially on the zombie walk and the sunny hug. Runs differ.
Read Genjutsu AI's terms and the rules of the app you post to. Do not imply a partnership with CapCut, MakeViral, or any Softhearted Gunner token. The trend music is not ours. Mute, then add only sound you have rights to.
A failed job returns the credits. Try two clearer photos, one person in each slot, or another quality, and generate again.
That is still unconfirmed. The earliest post people cite as widely shared is Miraç (@netmutsuz) on X, 4 October 2026, captioned “Ağlıyorum,” with about 4.4 million impressions. Pet versions and couple versions both spread after that. This page only retells that trail.
