MakeViral’s timeline put that template near 203,900 uses by 18 October. French, English, and Spanish how-tos showed up from 16 October, often under #bananatreetrend and #bananatreeai. MakeViral lists the same wave as banana-tree-run-ai-trend. That page is a heat radar, not the source of this sample.
The sample on this page follows that sprint: one runner, sports jersey, jeans, slides, side-track camera, banana canopy. A CapCut corner mark is not part of the frame.
